WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE M'BWEBE Aja Ishangi fka JEHVON BUCKNER SPEAK AT YOUR ORGANIZATION, SCHOOL OR UNIVERSITY?
M'Bwebe Aja Ishangi fka Jehvon Buckner is a qualified, young and powerful speaker. He has dedicated his life to working and speaking out forcefully for the rights and empowerment of Afrikans worldwide. His speciality is developing creative arts and educational projects that strengthen the minds of Afrikan people in general, youth and students in particular. He does this with a simple and practical style that clearly explains all areas of life including self, history, health, economics, spirituality, creativity and politics.

M'Bwebe (Mind and Body Working Equally excudes Blessingz Eternal) is a PanAfrikanist, writer, artist, graphic designer, lecturer and publisher of the controversial publication, Da Ghetto Tymz magazine and DAGHETTOTYMZ.com; a monthly publication and website that annihilates false perceptions of the Afrikan experience, chauffeured by the western-eurocentric mindset and DGTv: CONSCIOUS WEBVISION; a conscious video website. In addition, he is the co-founder of CONSCIOUSHIPHOP.com, a Pan-Afrikan Hiphop site that speaks clearly for itself. His educational background includes self-education since 1990, the University of Pittsburgh for undergraduate studies majoring in Black Studies/Education with psychology as a minor, and three years working with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) educational department.

His work started with learned information from renowned edutainer, KRS-One, an artist who brings consciousness to hip hop music. After three years underground study, M'Bwebe felt he was ready to convey what he learned to the Afrikan public. Starting out speaking to people in the streets, M'Bwebe felt he needed to create another outlet that would enable the message to reach an even larger mass of people.

M'Bwebe started putting his thoughts on paper and submitted them to major national publication's. Discouraged from the response from the editor's and publisher's, he wasn't about to fold. This led to a newsletter, Ghetto Tymz, debuting in April 1993. After ten consecutive issues, M'Bwebe started to publish work, other than his own, in his newsletter. Just over a year-and-a-half later, the newsletter flourished into a national publication, Da Ghetto Tymz magazine, and in January of 1996 marked DGTOnline's premiere on the world wide web. In June of 1997, Da Ghetto Tymz published its 50th consecutive issue and upgraded to glossy and color. The spring of '98 also marked the birth of DGT NTR-Prizes and Nebulution Studios, which Da Ghetto Tymz, along with Publishing, Online, Lectures, Website Creation and Logo Design fall under. April 2003 marked DGTs 10th Year Anniversary and 100th issue — a feat rarely achieved by an Afrikan-owned publication that is not owned and dictated by white advertisers and February 2006 marked the beginning of DGTv.

His aspiration to make DGT magazine a worldwide publication has put him in contact with major celebrities involved in Afrikan consciousness. His persistence and drive has created strong support from historian's Tony Browder, John Henrik Clarke, Amiri Baraka, Steve Cokely, Ashra Kwesi, Eraka Rouzarhondu, Leonard Jeffries, Dr. Na'im Akbar, Sophia Stewart, Kola Boof; hip hop artist's Dead Prez, Sister Souljah, KRS-One, Kevin Powell, Jessica Care Moore, Tiye Phoenix, DJ Red Alert, Professor Griff; Davey D, The Conscious Rasta, and a host of NBA, NFL and other professional and amateur sport athletes.

M'Bwebe believes his greatest contribution to date is being able to be self-reliant, taking his love for art, drawing, graphic design and speaking, and having the ability to develop his own corporation addressing the real problems and providing real solutions that raise self-esteem, through knowledge of self, which gives Afrikans, worldwide, the courage to liberate ourselves, ourself. This potential resides in all of us and M'Bwebe centers all of these innate attributes to our lineage from The Creator and our Ancestors.

WHY HAS CONTROVERSY SURROUND M'BWEBE AND DA GHETTO TYMZ?
The response M'Bwebe has received from his lectures and workshops have proved helpful in raising the level of desire and consciousness of his audience to be self-reliant. M'Bwebe has conducted lectures from New York to California and everything in between, and believes because of his youthful age, he is able to connect with a wider audience. However, many principals, heads of organizations, and media M'Bwebe spoke with, misunderstand him because they are not used to self-determined Afrikan people. Others fear his message because they are not used to young black men who are clear, strong, and can have a significant impact on his audienc — especially the youth. If you meet and hear him, you will be convinced that he is motivated by a genuine love for truth and Afrikan people.
